There are many choices for decorating your garden wedding cake and flowers are one of the ways. There are different types of flowers you can use. Fresh flowers are a great option. Just be sure to use clean, edible flowers.

Sugar paste flowers or fruit are also a beautiful option for a garden feel. This type of decoration is made by artists/bakers. They look very real and they are absolutely gorgeous. You can have your baker decorate your wedding cake with them or you can even buy them pre made online or at cake shops. Another great thing about sugar paste flowers is that they can be enjoyed for years as long as you keep dust and extreme humidity away from them.

Fresh fruit always looks elegant. Use small fruits like grapes, kumquats, figs, berries. Miniature apples and pears look lovely too. Again make sure the fruit is clean.

Frosting flowers are the classic wedding cake flower decoration. Any baker is skilled in decorating with these. You can have them done in any color scheme.

Other alternatives are butterflies, dragonflies, bees, ladybugs etc. You can have these made out of sugar paste, frosting or buy them in non-edible decorations at the craft store.
