If not the groom, in the heart of every bride at least, there’s that dream of walking up the altar and being joined together in holy matrimony. Some don’t follow their dream and then a notary or a registrar’s office does as well. However, for those who want to get married in Florida and want the ceremony to be a traditional one, there are a great many chapels here where you can get married. Let’s take a look at some of the options.
There are chapels in Central Florida where you can have it all – a chapel where there is car parking for a hundred cars, where you can even arrive in a helicopter because they have their own helipad. Or you could have a budget wedding in a chapel with just your family and close friends around you. It all depends on what kind of a traditional wedding you want and how much you would like to spend. Many of the wedding planners or agents who book the chapel could organize the whole wedding for you from the chapel ceremony to the wedding reception to the accommodation.
There are a great many chapels that dot the Florida horizon for you to choose from. From old Victorian looking ones to some that have their own gazebos or outdoor settings. And of course if you are a Disney fan, you couldn’t do better that getting married in one of the five Disney chapels – choose from the Wedding Pavilion, the Yacht Club Resort, the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian Resort or the Boardwalk Resort. If you have a guest list that is under twenty, you can choose their Intimate package which also includes a honeymoon. If your guest list is larger, they have Custom packages. However, the ceremony at the Disney chapel cannot take place on a Sunday – you have to choose a day from Monday to Saturday.
